Stan Munsey on Breverb
“Breverb has fast become my tool of choice when I want high end verb. I love the depth and the overall detail and clarity of the presets. I would say it has a three-dimensional quality and a lushness you would expect from more expensive, stand -alone hardware units. My ears pick up on a certain "lexicon..ish" color. I find the GUI to be fairly intuitive and most of the presets very useful and musical. Breverb doesn't tax my CPU, which is a nice bonus, so It's easy to use on multiple tracks. All four algorithms, Hall, Room, Plate and Inverse sound great and offer emulations of verbs we've all heard on records over the years. I love having so much control over all the parameters and having assignable controllers. It is very flexible and very tweakable and the more I dig into the plug, the more impressed I am. I have used Breverb in several DAW's and it has performed flawlessly and I love it especially on vocals, grand piano and acoustic guitar. I have been using it a lot on sparse worktapes and demo tracks and it adds a nice sheen and sits well in the mix. It doesn't do everything...as no one tool will but what it does do for my mixes...I absolutely love. Breverb is worth adding to anyone's collection of reverbs.”
